Machine Tool : It is a power-driven tool which can be used for the shaping, cutting, turning, boring, drilling,
grinding or polishing of solid parts.

Magnetic Brake : It is a friction brake which is under the control of an electromagnet.
It is made up of one or two rows of very strong Neodymium magnets.

Magnetic Chuck : It is a device which holds the job during machining by magnetic force.

Metacenter(M) : The point is called Metacenter where the buoyant force and the center line intersect each other.
When metacenter(M) is above the position of center of gravity(G) the ship is stable. When M is below G the ship is
unstable and when M is at G the ship is in neutral equilibrium.

Milling Machine : It is a machine tool which is used for the shaping of metal and other solid materials.
It has a rotating cutter which rotates about the spindle axis and a table to which the workpiece is affixed. In other
words, it is a machine used to remove metal by feeding a workpiece through the periphery of a rotating circular
cutter. It can be termed as miller.
